Chapter 1 Admission Brochure

1. Rongyou Program (IGCSE & A-Level, AP Courses)

As a Cambridge International School (Authorization Code: CN737), SSFLHS offers 20 IGCSE subjects and 15 A-Level subjects across 5 subject groups; as an international member school of the College Board (Authorization Code: 694048), it provides 21 different AP courses covering 5 major disciplines: Languages, Mathematics and Computer Science, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, and Arts. Adopting the personalized training model of "One Student, One Schedule; One Student, One Plan", it enables students to achieve "better, faster, and more comprehensive" growth in their academic journey. Under SSFLHS's unique "Rongyou" system, 86% of the 2025 graduates were admitted to Top 30 universities worldwide, including world-renowned academic institutions such as the University of Oxford, Imperial College London, UCL, National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, The University of Hong Kong, University of Melbourne, University of Sydney, University of Toronto, and University of Edinburgh. Notably, SSFLHS has secured admissions from the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge for four consecutive years, continuously verifying the international standards of its academic training.

2. Ronghui Program (Japanese Track)

It is an international curriculum carefully designed for students aspiring to study in Japan, taught by an excellent team of Chinese and foreign teachers with rich educational experience. Based on the requirements of the EJU examination, the curriculum offers four major course modules: language courses, professional courses, comprehensive literacy courses, and career planning courses, comprehensively cultivating students' comprehensive abilities. Graduates have been admitted to top universities such as the University of Tokyo, Keio University, Waseda University, and Musashino Art University.

Chapter 2 Assessment Content

The admission assessment aims to comprehensively evaluate students' academic ability, language application level, and logical thinking, ensuring that admitted students have the learning potential to connect with international courses. This assessment adopts the MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) adaptive testing system combined with an interview to measure students' comprehensive abilities in a scientific and objective manner.

1. Assessment System

Testing System: Adopt the MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) assessment system

MAP is an internationally accepted standardized assessment system developed by NWEA (Northwest Evaluation Association).

Features: Adaptive testing, dynamically adjusting difficulty according to students' answers to accurately assess academic level.

Applicability: Widely used in international school admission assessments worldwide to ensure fairness and comparability.

2. Assessment Subjects

Reading

Test Content: Vocabulary comprehension, reading comprehension (main idea, details, reasoning), literary analysis, etc.

Assessment Focus: Language logic, critical thinking, and text analysis abilities.

Examples:

Multiple-choice Questions: Infer the author's intention based on the article content.

Fill-in-the-blank Questions: Choose appropriate vocabulary to complete sentences.

Language Usage

Test Content: Grammar, writing norms (punctuation, sentence structure), text logic, etc.

Assessment Focus: Accuracy and fluency of language expression.

Examples:

Error Correction Questions: Identify grammatical errors in sentences.

Sentence Rearrangement Questions: Reorganize jumbled sentences into a coherent paragraph.

Mathematics

Test Content: Numbers and operations, algebra, geometry, data analysis, etc.

Assessment Focus: Logical thinking, problem-solving ability, and mathematical application ability.

Examples:

Calculation Questions: Solve equations or geometric problems.

Application Questions: Analyze data in combination with practical scenarios.

3. Test Duration

Total Duration: 2 hours

Allocation Suggestion (Dynamically Adjustable):

Reading: 30 minutes

Language Usage: 30 minutes

Mathematics: 30 minutes

4. Admission Suggestion

Assessment Method: Comprehensive evaluation based on MAP scores and interview performance.
